The End of Oz (Dorothy Must Die #4) by Danielle Paige

The End of Oz (Dorothy Must Die, #4)The End of Oz by Danielle Paige
Ding dong—Dorothy is dead.

I watched as the Emerald Palace crumbled to the ground, burying Dorothy, the Girl Who Rode the Cyclone, under the rubble. And now that the rightful ruler, Ozma, has been restored to the throne…

Oz is finally free.

My name is Amy Gumm. You might remember me as the other girl from Kansas. When a tornado whisked me away to the magical land of Oz, I was given a mission: Dorothy must die.
But it turns out girls from Kansas are harder to kill than we look.
Now the Road of Yellow Brick is leading me away from Oz to the dark world of Ev, where I have a new, powerful enemy to deal with: the Nome King. And—surprise—he has a gingham-clad bride.
With my magical shoes and a shrinking group of allies, I have one final chance to fulfill my mission, and save not only what’s left of Oz, but Kansas, too. As the line between Good and Wicked blurs even further, I have to find a way to get rid of Dorothy once and for all—without turning into a monster myself.
Dorothy once said there’s no place like home. Can I stop her from destroying mine?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have so many mixed emotions about this book. I loved every moment of it and I didn't want it to end!!! I laughed! I cried! I was happy and sad and happy again! This series has by far been one of my most favorites!!! Someday, over the rainbow...

Yellow Brick War (Dorothy Must Die #3) by Danielle Paige

Yellow Brick War (Dorothy Must Die, #3)Yellow Brick War by Danielle Paige
Once upon a time, there was a girl from Kansas named Dorothy. You might know her as the Girl Who Rode the Cyclone. She ended up in Oz, where she became friends with the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. But the temptation of magic was too much for her. She let it change her. Her friends became twisted versions of their former selves. The magical land of Oz is now a dark and menacing place. My name is Amy Gumm. Tornadoes must have a thing about girls from Kansas, because I got swept away on one too. I also landed in Oz, where Good is Wicked, Wicked is Good, and the Wicked Witches clued me in to my true calling: Assassin. The only way to stop Dorothy from destroying Oz—and Kansas—is to kill her. And I’m the only one who can do it. But I failed. Others died for my mistakes. Because of me, the portal between the worlds has been opened and Kansas and Oz are both in danger. And if I don’t find a way to close it? Dorothy will make sure I never get to go home again.

I'm not sure there are many more ways for me to say how awesome I believe Danielle Paige to be. That being said this was probably my favorite so far!!! I love that Amy has returned home and gets to taste a bit of her old life before having to return to Oz to fight another battle. I'm anxious to begin the next book and see how Amy defeats the next evil!!! And I'm so praying that she gets the boy!!! She deserves it after all the work she's done to defend Oz and take down Dorothy!!!! Another great read!!! This whole series is fantastic!!!

The Wicked Will Rise (Dorothy Must Die, #2) by Danielle Paige

The Wicked Will Rise (Dorothy Must Die, #2)The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige
In this dark, high-octane sequel to the New York Times bestselling Dorothy Must Die, Amy Gumm must do everything in her power to kill Dorothy and free Oz. To make Oz a free land again, Amy Gumm was given a mission: remove the Tin Woodman’s heart, steal the Scarecrow’s brain, take the Lion’s courage, and then Dorothy must die... But Dorothy still lives. Now the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked has vanished, and mysterious Princess Ozma might be Amy’s only ally. As Amy learns the truth about her mission, she realizes that she’s only just scratched the surface of Oz’s past—and that Kansas, the home she couldn't wait to leave behind, may also be in danger. In a place where the line between good and evil shifts with just a strong gust of wind, who can Amy trust—and who is really Wicked?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As always Danielle Paige has done a fantastic job!!! I absolutely love this series. It's made me like Wizard Of Oz like I never have before. Amy Gumm is a strong character who is like any other young girl trying to find her purpose and place in the world and in book 2 she begins to find her way. Can't wait to start book 3 the Yellow Brick War. Which I'm doing as soon as I close this out. 🙂

Stealing Snow (Stealing Snow, #1) by Danielle Paige

Stealing Snow (Stealing Snow, #1)Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige
First kisses sometimes wake slumbering princesses, undo spells, and spark happily ever afters. Mine broke Bale. Seventeen-year-old Snow has spent her life locked in Whittaker Psychiatric—but she isn’t crazy. And that’s not the worst of it. Her very first kiss proves anything but innocent…when Bale, her only love, turns violent. Despite Snow knowing that Bale would never truly hurt her, he is taken away—dashing her last hope for any sort of future in the mental ward she calls home. With nowhere else to turn, Snow finds herself drawn to a strange new orderly who whispers secrets in the night about a mysterious past and a kingdom that’s hers for the taking—if only she can find her way past the iron gates to the Tree that has been haunting her dreams. Beyond the Tree lies Algid, a land far away from the real world, frozen by a ruthless king. And there too await the River Witch, a village boy named Kai, the charming thief Jagger, and a prophecy that Snow will save them all.

The Witch Must Burn (Dorothy Must Die, #0.2)The Witch Must Burn by Danielle Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely adore this series. I love the way Danielle Paige writes. I'm am never bored, not even for a moment. This inside look on Jellia was a great way to get to know her better and gives some hope for Oz's future. I must admit I'm not a huge Wizard of Oz fan, but Danielle Paige has me so hooked that has changed, this take on Oz is the best one yet. Can't wait to read Novella 3 The Wizard Returns and Book two, The Wicked Will Rise, which I will be getting both books later today...

Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1) by Danielle Paige

Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1)Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"Oz has turned into a savage dystopia under Dorothy’s rule—and now a new girl from Kansas must take her down. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz meets Kill Bill in this edgy, fast-paced fantasy adventure.

Somewhere over the rainbow…something has gone terribly wrong. "

So The story of Oz and its famous movie have never been a favorite of mine. Danielle Paige gave me a whole new love for OZ, I myself want to venture somewhere over the rainbow. This book is a great read. It takes you on a whole new adventure thru the land of OZ!!!

I am also enjoying all these "remakes" of my childhood fairy tales. Dorothy must Die , is one of those and I loved every moment from who Amy was to following the yellow brick road, to living in the Emerald City. Ive always thought Dorothy was way to sweet, and I think Danielle Paige captures her just perfect in this book. I wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next book, but I know without a doubt I will be getting it!!!!

No Place Like Oz (Dorothy Must Die #0.5) by Danielle Paige

No Place Like Oz (Dorothy Must Die #0.5)No Place Like Oz by Danielle Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Completely riveting!!! I am one for not giving spoilers in my reviews, I absolutely hate when someone ruins part of the story in a review. With that in mind I will do my best to properly review this without any spoilers.

I am so not a Wizard of Oz fan, that was my mom, my favorite part of the movie was tormenting my little sister with the flying monkeys. I always thought Dorothy was such a goody two shoes, that she was just too sweet!! Gag!!! And how stupid she was for not knowing she had the power to go home at anytime.

Well Danielle Paige, has made my interest in Oz return, she has shown me the side of Dorothy, I always knew was in there, spoiled lil selfish whinny baby!!! Ms. Paige shows us a dark side to Dorothy Gale in No Place like Oz, a side you never imagined you would see of Dorothy. At first it seems just like a happy little reunion with her old friends, the scare crow, the tin woodsman and the lion. You worry about Glinda and what became of her, by the end of this story the true wicked witch is revealed to you and she is not from Oz, born and raised in Kansas she was!!!

I got this ebook after seeing Dorothy Must Die, at the bookstore, and this Ebook was only 1.99 on Kindle, I figured while Im waiting for the BFF to read DMD and give me her review, as well has payday to come around, Id check this prequel out and get a taste for the series and see if I liked it. Well I don't like it!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Danielle Paige has hooked me, as soon as I can I will have Dorothy Must Die, and as soon as the rest of the books are out I will have them too!!! Amazing idea cant wait to see what comes next!!!
